₹50,000 cash and gold stolen from sector-8 house in Chandigarh

A burglary was reported in Sector 8, Chandigarh, where thieves broke into a house and stole cash, a laptop, and gold jewellery. The incident has raised concerns about security in the area. Chandigarh police are investigating the matter and have started collecting evidence to identify the culprits.

The burglary took place between March 10 and 11 at the residence of Maninder Singh Sandhu, located at House Number 9, Sector 8, Chandigarh. According to police reports, the burglars managed to enter the house by breaking a window while the occupants were not at home.

Once inside, the thieves targeted valuable items and cash. They stole ₹50,000 in cash, a laptop, and gold jewellery. The value of the stolen gold jewellery is yet to be assessed. The theft was discovered by the family when they returned home and noticed that their belongings were scattered and valuables were missing.

The police were informed immediately, and a team from the local police station arrived at the scene to investigate.
